If you’re living with a mental health condition, join us for NAMI Peer-to-Peer! This free class is for anyone who experiences mental health symptoms. The course is designed for anyone experiencing mental health challenges who wants to achieve and maintain life in recovery.
Peer-to-Peer is led by instructors who have lived experience with a mental health condition.
What does the course cover?
You’ll learn tips for coping with a mental health condition. From personal goal setting to tips for working with healthcare providers, the information is designed to help you navigate your own mental health journey and maintain recovery. You’ll learn about the biology of mental illnesses and the physical changes that happen in the brain. You’ll also discuss the benefits and challenges of medication, and also practice coping skills including mindfulness and goal setting. In addition to the course content, you’ll have a chance to meet others who are facing similar challenges and who understand.
