Summer Series 2019
NAMI Delaware & Morrow Counties is excited to introduce our first summer series! Beginning July 17, we are offering four Wednesday night sessions for people with mental health conditions and their families.
Take some time to learn and care for yourself this summer. Join us for one session, all of them, or anywhere in between!

Wednesday, July 24 – A Friend of Mine: A Community Conversation About Mental Health and Substance Abuse
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm, St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9633 E. OH-37, Sunbury, Ohio.

Wednesday, July 31 – Understanding STABLE Accounts
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at 814 Bowtown Road, Delaware, Ohio, 43015.
You or your loved one may be eligible to open a STABLE account. If you are on Medicaid or SSI, STABLE accounts let people save and invest without losing their benefits. Come out and see if you are eligible.

Wednesday, August 7 – Secondary Trauma
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at 814 Bowtown Road, Delaware, Ohio 43015.
NAMI recognizes that mental illnesses are traumatic events, not only for the person diagnosed, but also for their loved ones. Come learn about the impact of secondary trauma, how to cope, and whether it can be prevented.
Presented by Terri Johnston, PCC. Terri is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Clinical Director of Spirit of Peace Clinical Counseling in Columbus. She is also a Certified Registered Play Therapist (RPT), Certified Trauma and Loss Specialist, and is EMDR Basic Trained, and Gottman Level 3 Trained. Registration required.
